Post Doc Position at Rayong Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Thailand

RAIST, Rayong Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, has created unique graduate frontier research programs that combine the search for groundbreaking knowledge with real life industrial applications. In the initial phase, RAIST will award Master and Ph.D. degrees in “Chemical Science and Chemical Engineering” and “Materials Sciences and Engineering” in the institutes of “Energy Science & Engineering” and “Molecular Science & Engineering”, respectively. Both of the initial two Institutes will operate scientific collaborations with scientists from the PTT group research centers and other outstanding research centers in Thailand and will be engaged in collaborations with overseas universities. A Junior Research Fellow position is available in the Dr. Maki Murata-Hori’s group associated with the Dr. Kouichi Hasegawa’s laboratory in inStem.
Dr. Maki Murata-Hori, a Visiting Scientist, studies the molecular mechanism underlying the regulation of cytoskeletal remodeling in cardiac hypertrophy using a combination of techniques including human iPSC/ESC technology, microfluidic engineering and high resolution microscopic imaging.
 Applicants who have experience in molecular biology, cell biology and microscopic imaging are strongly encouraged to apply. The positions are for RGCB's Bio-Innovation Center which is an approved project of Government of India, Department of Biotechnology.
